We are thrilled to share some exciting highlights from our recent activities that celebrated Indigenous culture and promoted leadership among our students.

To kick off our celebrations for NAIDOC Week, we were delighted to host a captivating performance by the talented Sean Choolburra. His engaging storytelling and vibrant energy truly brought our community together, allowing us to reflect on the significance of this important week.

In addition, our classes embraced Reconciliation Week by diving into traditional stories and creating beautiful artworks. These creations were showcased during our whole school assembly, where students were guided by our dedicated AET Executive. It was wonderful to see our students' creativity shine as they recognised the importance of reconciliation.

Our Year 6 AET Leaders had an enriching experience attending the AET Leadership Day at Nulkaba Public School. They developed essential leadership skills while participating in various activities, including sports, cooking, and STEM projects. This experience not only enhanced their leadership abilities but also fostered teamwork and camaraderie among peers.

Moreover, our Stage 3 AET members have been actively supporting and guiding our younger students. They have been instrumental in developing and implementing activities to help them build skills in traditional language, art, cooking, and sports.
